Dr. Stephanie Rossi, DNP, MSN, RN, NCSN, PEL-CSN
Dr. Rossi has been a registered nurse since 2009, and before that time worked with children in settings such as park districts, local YMCAs, and early childhood education settings. As a nurse, Dr. Rossi has experience in Level 1 trauma centers in Illinois, where she cared for patients in postpartum settings, pre- and postoperative settings, women and children’s health specialties, intensive cardiac care (ICU) settings, intensive medical care, outpatient and community health, and finally, in educational settings as a nurse in sync with special education, increasing population health and improving the health of communities and families, one student at a time.
Dr. Rossi’s career in healthcare began at the community college setting, yet she was inspired to sustain her insatiable thirst for knowledge and systems improvement, and she earned her terminal degree in Doctor of Nursing Practice, where she studied the intersection of wellness, meditation, and the benefits it has on mothers and their child(ren)/family for years to come.
It is no surprise this vast background of experience contributes to her professional deliverance of family-focused dedication and tireless commitment to what is best for those she serves.
Lindsay Moore, Transition Doula
Lindsay is a DONA-trained doula with advanced certifications in grief and loss. She also holds a communications degree from Northwestern University. "Doula" comes from the ancient Greek word meaning "to serve," and Lindsay has nearly a decade of experience supporting families navigating every kind of life transition: literally, birth, death, and everything in between. While these pivotal life moments can be stressful, they can also be a catalyst for positive change; throughout the transition period, Lindsay provides continuity of care, emotional and informational support, and practical tools to help clients achieve the most satisfying experience.
